Ann Parsons, CFP, EPC -

Certified Financial Planner

Ann has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years. She has built her financial planning practice on such principles as trust, integrity and a sincere interest in helping her clients achieve peace of mind.

Ann lives in Pasadena with her husband Junior, her daughter Stephanie, and son Neil. She joined Investment Planning Counsel in 2000 after over 25 years in the banking field. She became a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers in 1984, completed the Investment Funds in Canada course in 1992 and the Canadian Securities course in 1995. She obtained her Life Insurance Agent’s license in 2001 in order to meet the life and living benefit needs of her clients. Her proudest academic accomplishment is the completion of the Certified Financial Planner designation in 2001. Recently, in July 2006, she achieved the designation of Elder Planner Counselor.

Ann provides a comprehensive written financial plan based on working towards the achievement of client’s individual financial goals. She identifies gaps and presents options to ensure financial goals are met so her clients can live their dreams.

▪ Periodic seminars on financial topics of interest and concern

Ann is passionate in her involvement in community activities. She is current Treasurer of the Pasadena Library Board, a member of the Corner Brook area Junior Achievement committee and has been helping deliver Junior Achievement programs in local schools for over 10 years. She is also the past President of the Rotary Club of Corner Brook and a past Cub and Scout leader.
